Fear is a natural emotion, but the key is to never let fear overtake you but for you to overtake fear. Is. 41:10 says, "Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
The first part of this verse says that God is with us. God is omnipresent meaning that He is everywhere. Because of His presence we don't have to fear. Whenever you feel yourself becoming fearful think on this...
#1. God is with me. He is powerful and all knowing. I don't have to be afraid. He knows the outcome of every situation. I will not allow fear to shake my faith.
As we read further in the verse we see God saying, "Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you." The spirit of fear can cause us to become weak in our emotions and in our thoughts. When you become weak consider this...
#2 I know who my God is. I serve a God who is a present help in the time of trouble. My strength comes from Him. I will look unto the hills because my help comes from The Lord. Reassure yourself about who your helper is. The Lord is MY HELPER.
In order to remain strong and to overtake fear we have to SPEAK POSITIVE things over every situation we encounter. It's time to live a fearless life. We are more than conquerers through Christ Jesus. Embrace the power that God has given you! Be encouraged & Be FEARLESS!
